The project will commence early in 2019 with one of the initial activities being the construction of the new entry between the 35 Collins St lobby and the Great Space retail area. The forecourt repaving works will commence in March/April 2019 and are intended to be undertaken in a staged approach.
 
The entire project is due to be completed in early 2020.
 
There will be changes to access routes into the retail space and 35 Collins St lobby throughout the project, these will be clearly sign posted and demarked.

A new entrance is being built for 35 Collins St tenants to enter the building directly from the retail area. When this new entrance is completed in mid-2019 this will become the only entry to 35 Collins until the new Collins St facing lobby is complete in early 2020. From early 2020 access will be provided from both entrances.

There will be a heightened level of noise during construction with noisiest works restricted to between 7am - 9am Monday to Friday and 10am - 4pm on Saturdays for the duration of the project.

The lift area in 35 Collins St lobby will also be stripped back to the concrete structure for a period of time whilst new services and finishes are installed. These works will almost exclusively be taking place outside of business hours to ensure safe and unobstructed access to and from your tenancy is maintained.

Some retailers may change their trading hours in response to the above but there will always be adequate access into the Collins Place although the paths of travel may change from time to time. These will always be clearly sign posted and demarked.

We are upgrading the forecourt and 35 Collins St Lobby to improve the amenity for all of our customers and visitors.
The builder appointed to the project is Built Pty Ltd.
 
Noisy works will be limited to 7am to 9am Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays, although general construction activities will continue outside of these hours.
