The Print Council of Australia are thrilled to launch the PRINT COMMISSION 2018 at a dedicated exhibition at Collins Place Gallery, in the heart of Melbourne’s iconic arts precinct.
Over the past 50 years some of Australia’s most well known artists such as John Brack, Fred Williams, and John Olsen have been commissioned by the Print Council, and have works now contained in the organisation’s extensive Print Archive collection.

The Collins Place Gallery Summer Salon is a new opportunity for artists working in the field of painting, printmaking and works on paper to exhibit in the heart of Melbourne, and go in the running to win prizes from a prize-pool equalling $10,000. Artists can enter up to two works, and there is no entry fee.
The Summer Salon promises to be a vibrant and colourful celebration of contemporary “art made now.” Prizes will be awarded by industry professionals, and the exhibition will be on display within the Collins Place thriving retail precinct, that attracts national and international visitors to the gallery.
